I just wanted to say I love MIT Open Courseware. It gave me a chance to see how things are taught in a top school. It was such a rewarding experience to see the video lectures. I really enjoy my learning experience trying out the courses.

I believe that MIT sets a good example for other education institutions. No doubt that it helps a lot of students. It could also inspire a lot of teachers/professors. They could refer to the course syllabus and videos to help them in teaching.

Currently, I am ’sitting’ in a 3-week couse:

6.189    A Gentle Introduction to Programming Using Python    January (IAP) 2008

I also checked out another course:

6.046J    Introduction to Algorithms (SMA 5503)    Fall 2005

This is a really nice class. The course features a complete set of lectures. It is also taught as part of the Singapore-MIT Alliance (SMA) program. I wish I could finish the materials covered in this course ASAP :)
